The Jordan Spizike Low "Obsidian" pays homage to Spike Lee's iconic introduction of Hollywood and basketball culture by merging elements from five classic Jordans into one iconic sneaker. Introduced in 2006, the Spizike has long been celebrated for its blend of historic design elements. Fast forward to 2024, Jordan Brand is set to launch the Jordan Spizike Low, marking its first appearance in a low-top edition.This new release features a striking White, Obsidian, and Pure Platinum colorway. The upper showcases a crisp White leather finish, adorned with elephant print overlays at the toe and heels, elegantly complemented by Obsidian accents. The shoe maintains its original structure with a minor tweak to the collar, offering both a nod to its roots and a fresh twist. The White midsole houses a visible Air unit at the heel for added comfort, while the Obsidian rubber outsole with “Jordan” branding ensures durability and traction.Released last June 2024, the Jordan Spizike Low “Obsidian” is set to make a significant impact. This model, the longest-tenured hybrid from Jordan Brand, represents a comeback effort, with its first navy and white colorway since a similar pair in 2017. The design draws inspiration from recent editions of the Air Jordan line, particularly the 3, 4, and 6 models, as well as a recent A Ma Maniere x Jordan 5 release, establishing a rich line of inspiration for this latest iteration.
